Educational Resource Support
Our educational resource support provides ileap and PARCC practice materials. We also provide Autism resource materials for parents of newly diagnosed students. We provide a road map to navigate through the maze of the Autism Spectrum.
Mentoring/Anti Bullying Initiative
Our mentoring program provides life skills workshops and activities for students grades 4th through 12th. We have developed partnerships with professional licensed counselors. Counselors complete an assessment for students referred by the school or concerned parents. Our Anti Bullying initiative includes a needs assessment and case management specificially for bullying and suicide prevention.
The suicide rate among teens has increased from 6.3% to 7.8%. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among students between the ages of 10-24 years old, as a result of bullying.

Outreach Services of North Louisiana provides programs for students between the ages of 7 to 18 years old. Our focus are students who are disproportionally ill-prepared to pursue a college major or career. Our STEM, Educational Resource Support and Anti-Bullying Initiative provide services for student from a disadvantaged background.
In the past 10 years our services include school supplies, Autism Resource Support, clothing for families displaced due to house fires, temporary shelter services and meals during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
To date, Outreach Services has served over 150 students and families within Caddo and Bossier Parishes.
Our STEM program is a partnership with Captain Shreve High School and Midway Middle School in Shreveport.
STEM activities include creating QR Codes and various STEM activities in the classroom and on campus. Experienced classroom teachers and STEM instructors directly connect English with STEM.
